STUDENT COMMITTEE

Purpose:

To support and promote student/trainee success by engaging students/trainees in psychosocial oncology from diverse disciplines.

Work Highlights:

The Student/Trainee Committee meets regularly over the year via teleconference. We work on various initiatives to engage students/trainees working in the field of psychosocial oncology, promote CAPO student/trainee work, and support student/trainee development. Some of our initiatives include supporting the CAPO social media channels with content and trainee spotlights, outreach to educational institutions to inform students about CAPO, and various events at our yearly conference including mentorship matches, pre-conference workshops, a student/trainee social, and volunteer opportunities.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Interested CAPO Student members can email Justine Albert, CAPO Student Liaison: [email protected]
