Featuring Dr. Linda Carlson (professor in the Faculty of Medicine and co-author of The Art and Science of Mindfulness)
In this webinar, Dr. Linda Carlson (professor in the Faculty of Medicine and co-author of The Art and Science of Mindfulness) discusses the ways in which mindfulness can be used as a coping strategy to help reduce stress as we work through the COVID-19 pandemic, and makes parallels to the uncertainties of coping with cancer. She defines mindfulness, gives research-based examples of how it can reduce stress and help people with cancer cope, and guides you through several mindfulness practices that can be beneficial in your everyday professional and personal lives, and especially during times of crisis.
